Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Type: Full-Time
School Year: 2026–2027

Position Summary

Applications are now being accepted for a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role supports the educational process by promoting positive behavioral change in students and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered learning environment. This position is paid on the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule.

Contract: 186 days


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and the mental health community to support student development goals
  • Administer developmental assessments and other testing tools to evaluate student needs and guide instructional planning
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, expectations, and strategies for improvement
  • Analyze behavioral and academic data to make informed recommendations related to student progress, staff support, and training
  • Monitor and assess student progress toward behavioral and instructional goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and community partners to improve student outcomes
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), evaluations, and analyses to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
  • Coordinate programs and resources to support behavioral initiatives and student success
  • Model and demonstrate evidence-based behavioral interventions aligned with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Maintain accurate and compliant data collection systems in accordance with ethical and professional standards
  • Provide staff training, workshops, and in-service presentations on behavior management and ABA methodologies
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and observation
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and professional development activities
  • Prepare reports, data summaries, behavior plans, and other documentation for educational teams
  • Report incidents in accordance with school policies and legal requirements to ensure student safety and well-being

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Active BCBA certification prior to employment
  • Relevant job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility preferred

Working Conditions

This position involves working in a school setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting students with diverse behavioral and educational needs.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated annually by the Director of Student Services in accordance with district evaluation procedures.
