$500 Sign-On Bonus Compensation starting at $24/hr

Required Credentials:
  • Completed High School diploma
  • Experience working with students preferred, exposure to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) highly preferred
  • Bilingual skills valued (Spanish preferred)
Required Skills:
  • Receptiveness to feedback and coaching, with the ability to apply guidance from supervisors to improve clinical implementation and professional performance.
  • Strong communication
  • Exceptional reliability, organization, and time-management skills to maintain consistent schedules and complete administrative/clinical documentation accurately and on time.
  • Basic technology proficiency, including the ability to navigate electronic systems and submit clinical notes and documentation.
Job Description

A School-Based Interventionist provides direct services to students with autism and related disorders, implementing clinical programs for each student under the supervision of a Program Manager and/or Clinical Supervisor. School-Based Interventionists may also provide support for multiple students within a single classroom with embedded supports. It may take 6-8 weeks to assign you to a school site with cases that are appropriate to your new hire skill level and geographic location. You must be willing to drive a commute of 20 to 40 miles to the school you are assigned. Although we try to place you at a school site that is geographically close to your home, convenience is not guaranteed. Your availability to work school hours is critical for your successful training and ongoing career with Intercare Therapy.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, implement clinical treatment programming and behavior intervention strategies by providing classroom support, one-on-one direct intervention, and therapy services to children with autism and related disorders
  • Maintain punctual, consistent, reliable schedule with students
  • Produce required administrative and clinical paperwork with accuracy and timeliness
  • Comply with company’s policies, procedures, timelines and budgets
  • Learn, respect, and represent the Intercare history, mission, and brand
