Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support students academic, social, and emotional development within a dynamic school environment in Laurel, DE. This role is a contract position starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret findings to inform student support plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to support student learning and well-being.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and delivering psychological services in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Location: Laurel, Delaware (Contract position supporting the school district for the 2025-2026 school year)
