Company Description

Peace of Mind Psychological Services is a private practice located in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area dedicated to providing psychological evaluations for a range of academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns, as well as individual and family therapy if desired. Our mission is to help clients "find peace in every circumstance" by supporting the entire family. We are currently seeking a part-time child and family therapist to join our team and help expand our therapeutic services. There are also opportunities to treat adult clients and develop therapy groups.


Role Description

This is a part on-site role for a Licensed Therapist, based in Johns Creek, GA. The Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, write psychological reports, develop treatment plans, and address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns. Daily responsibilities include managing a caseload of adolescent and family clients, creating treatment plans, and maintaining thorough documentation. The role may also offer opportunities to treat adult clients and develop group therapy sessions.


Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychologist with relevant credentials (e.g., Psy.D., PhD)
  • Experience in individual and family therapy
  • Skills in conducting psychological evaluations and developing treatment plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to potentially work with adult clients and facilitate group sessions
  • Ability to work on-site in Johns Creek, GA
  • Experience in the mental health or psychological services field is a plus
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field
