Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This contract opportunity is for a skilled School Psychologist to serve in a school setting located in Barre, VT, for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs from August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a workweek of 37.5 hours.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working directly with school-aged children and educational teams
  • Ability to perform assessments, provide counseling, and develop interventions as needed
  • In-person availability required for this position
  • Willingness to discuss caseload details during the interview process

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations to support student learning and well-being
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
