Collaborate with LAHMB Staff to register participants.
Participate in the LAHMB Consortium.
Schedule and facilitation of Father Peer Support Groups.
Provide encouragement and support to participants to engage in activities.
Attend and complete peer support certification trainings as required.
Facilitate group discussions, module presentations, and role-playing activities with fidelity to selected programming.
Facilitate Father Peer Support Groups.
Assist program participants in the development of confidence and skills related to parenting.
Facilitate groups in an open and welcoming environment.
Provide direct peer support based on your own lived experience.
Help participants understand and employ coping and recovery skills.
Utilize a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of the project.
Attend community, coalition, agency, network, and other meetings as required.
Complete all fund source and AZYP reporting requirements.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of actions and outcomes for all funding streams.
Represent AZYP at public events, as directed, to promote prevention efforts.
Set up and manage Nalox-Box kits throughout service area.
Implement evaluation tools with support and direction from the LAHMB Data Coordinator.
Complete outreach to bolster Peer Support model.
Participate in training as required by funder or AZYP.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree or higher (preferred)
Certification or ability to attain certification as a Peer Support Specialist
Knowledge of rural Arizona, prevention, alcohol and substance use and abuse by youth, young adults, and adults.
Parenting experience.
Excellent presentation, oral, written communication & computer skills; knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point.
Initiating and independent worker. Creative, flexible, collaborator, team-player.

REQUIREMENTS
Finger printing and Background Check; CPR/First Aid Certification.
AZ Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel countywide and statewide.
Automobile Insurance in the amount of $100,000/$300,000
Some evening and weekend hours as needed.
