Job Overview
***MUST BE BILINGUAL and ALREADY HAVE YOUR RBT CERTIFICATION FROM THE BACB. We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! In this role, you’ll work alongside a BCBA to support children and young adults in their homes and communities, helping them build skills, gain independence, and make real progress.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors in accordance with treatment protocols.
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including home, school, or community environments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and management.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices in daily interactions.

Requirements

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience in behavioral therapy or related fields is beneficial.
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of clients through compassionate care.
