Please apply online at SAU39.orgSchool Psychologist - Amherst Middle SchoolAmherst Middle School is seekinga full-time school psychologist for grades 5-8.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Skills required include conducting Psycho-Educational evaluations through the special education process. Candidate must have experience administering, scoring, and interpreting psycho-educational evaluations, as well as providing written and oral feedback related to completed evaluations. Knowledge and experience administering assessments in the domains of Cognitive, Educational, Behavioral,Adaptive Functioning, Executive Functioning, and Social-Emotional Functioning are required. Additional responsibilities include consultation withspecial education and general education staff to implement high quality special education programming, performing functional behavior assessments, writing behavior plans, and overseeing behavioral programming in collaboration with the student's team, providing direct services in social emotional and behavioral as deemed by IEP teams, including prescribing services and writing IEP goals, and consultation with MTSS teams.

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Certified by New Hampshire Department of Education as a School Psychologist (0046) 2. 3-5 years of successful experience in School Psychology, inclusive of practicum and internship 3. Knowledge of Special Education Laws.

Well-grounded in adolescent developmental needs. 3. Excellent communication skills. 4.

Well-developed collaborative skills for working with colleagues and families. 5. Knowledgeable in processes related to Special Education.PREFERRED: 1. Experience in behavioral programming, including FBAs and BIPs2.

Experience in a Multi-Tier System of Support, includinganalyzing response to intervention data and incorporating into psycho-educational reports and recommendations3. Experience applying assessment, interpretation, and application of a pattern of strengths and weaknesses psycho-educational evaluation
