PRN Contract Psychologist

Dominion Medical Consulting is seeking a clinical or forensic psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to conduct mental status evaluations and psychological testing for the Social Security Administration. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position. It is in-person only at our office in Crossville, TN.

Examinations are low risk. No provider-patient relationship is established, and you would not be responsible for ordering any tests, medications, or follow-up. Right now, there is enough work to support about one full day per week, scheduled in advance. We have flexible availability and can schedule 7 days per week based on your schedule. This is a PRN, not full-time, position, and would be a good supplement to any existing work.

You would be able to set up your own schedule with us each month. We would handle the actual scheduling of claimants for you after you give your availability each month and provide you with a clean professional office to conduct the evaluations. We provide a template that you can use to help guide your examination. We can provide testing supplies as well, if needed. Our biggest needs would be Mental Status Evaluations, along with psychological testing (typically WAIS or WISC).

Work will be contracted out on an as-needed basis. Payment schedule would be monthly, based on the contracted rate per report received. Our rate is $100.00 per report or test, scheduled as often as every 40 minutes, but based entirely on your preference.
