Position Details:

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
$24.50 - $28.43/hr*

Salary is based on experience, credentials, education, and language skills used in the role (50%+ bilingual application).

About TES Academy

TES Academy is a non-public charter school trusted by many Northeast Ohio school districts to support students requiring intensive behavioral and educational services. Students range in age from 3 to 21 and have various academic and functional skill levels. With small class sizes, low student-to-staff ratios, and a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team, we prioritize personalized learning, positive intervention strategies, safety and growth. We are small enough that we get to know our students and their families well, allowing us to provide individualized attention and instruction.

What You’ll Do:

Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students
Provide guidance to staff and families
Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Write IEP goals and objectives
Implement and oversee crisis plans including, de-escalation, restraints and seclusion
Maintain clear documentation and track student progress
Mentor, train and collaborate with classroom staff in behavioral interventions
Support families and staff with evidence-based strategies

✅ What You’ll Need:

Valid BCaBA licensure
Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
Current TB test (within the last 12 months)
Must pass BCI/FBI background check
Reliable transportation and appropriate auto insurance (25/50k coverage)
Must be able to physically intervene, when necessary

• Daytime, school-based schedule

Small classrooms, structured routines
Moderate to high activity levels
Students with diverse and intensive behavioral needs
Strong team support with other behavior professionals, classroom staff and administration
