Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to children (birth - 6 years old) and their families. The Early Intervention Specialist will work closely with clients to develop personalized care plans, implement family training strategies, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. This position requires a strong commitment to family care and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for children based on their unique needs.
  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive network for clients.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and guidance to family on best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in special education and disability services.

Qualifications

  • Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when working with families
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of disability services.
  • Bachelors Or Master's Degree in Child Development, Education or similar.
