Social Worker | Riverside, California

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed clinical social worker or marriage and family therapist is needed to provide essential mental health services within a school setting. This role supports social-emotional learning (SEL) classrooms by delivering individualized counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to students in need. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to promote student well-being and foster a positive school environment.

Location: West Covina, CA
Contract Type: Contract
Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Age Group: SEL classroom setting
Caseload: 20-25 students

Qualifications:

• Licensed and credentialed as one of the following: ACSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, or PPSC SSW
• Experience working in school-based or healthcare social work or marriage and family therapy
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills tailored to children and adolescents
• Ability to develop treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to supporting social-emotional learning and student mental health

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and therapy services to students within the SEL classroom
• Develop and implement individualized service plans based on student needs
• Conduct assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards
