A licensed clinical social worker or marriage and family therapist is needed to provide essential mental health services within a school setting. This role supports social-emotional learning (SEL) classrooms by delivering individualized counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to students in need. Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Age Group: SEL classroom setting
Caseload: 20-25 students
Qualifications:
- Licensed and credentialed as one of the following: ACSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, or PPSC SSW
- Experience working in school-based or healthcare social work or marriage and family therapy
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills tailored to children and adolescents
- Ability to develop treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting social-emotional learning and student mental health
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and therapy services to students within the SEL classroom
- Develop and implement individualized service plans based on student needs
- Conduct assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards
