A mental health professional is needed for a contract position supporting students in an SEL classroom setting. This role focuses on providing social work and therapeutic services to children aged for social-emotional learning development.

Location: West Covina, CA
Job Type: Contract
Hours: 35 hours/week, 5 days/week

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure or certification as one of the following: ACSW or LCSW, AMFT or LMFT, or PPSC SSW
• Experience working in school-based social work or therapy settings highly preferred
• Ability to manage caseloads of 20-25 students, providing individualized support
• Demonstrated knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work or marriage and family therapy services within the SEL classroom environment
• Assess and support the emotional and behavioral needs of students to promote positive educational outcomes
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement intervention plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with professional and ethical standards
• Engage with families and caregivers as part of a comprehensive support approach
