A school-based Social Worker position is available for the current school year in Escondido, CA. This contract role, starting ASAP and concluding on June 4, 2026, requires an onsite presence to support students social and emotional well-being in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and gathering detailed information on assigned caseloads
• Developing and implementing intervention plans to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive strategies for student success
• Providing crisis intervention, counseling, and referral services as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Professional qualification as a Social Worker with experience in school settings
• Strong understanding of student social and emotional development
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and respond promptly to student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to working onsite to provide direct support within the school environment
