MUST CURRENTLY BE AN RBT (REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN). CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT HAVE THIS CREDENTIAL WILL BE DECLINED.
Job Type: Part-Time | After-school hours between 4-7pm (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri) and 4:30--7:30pm (Tues) (15 hours weekly total in client's home with BCBA support). You will alternate working with 2 teenage siblings along with another RBT, in the home setting.
Job Summary:
Step into a role where your energy matters, your creativity shines, and your impact is life-changing. As a Developmental Behavior Interventionist (RBT) at TAG, you won’t just be implementing behavior plans — you’ll be igniting potential, building confidence, and creating meaningful breakthroughs every single day.
At TAG, we believe growth happens best through connection, joy, and real-life experiences. You’ll work directly with children, teens, and occasionally young adults, bringing evidence-based strategies to life in ways that feel natural, engaging, and FUN. This is not a sit-at-a-table-all-day environment — this is hands-on, movement-filled, creativity-powered intervention.
Love art? Let’s turn it into skill building.
Into music? We’ll use it to strengthen communication and regulation.
Enjoy cooking, gardening, building, or play-based learning? Perfect — that’s how we do things here.
Our naturalistic, project-based approach means sessions are dynamic, meaningful, and designed to spark curiosity and confidence. You’ll foster powerful, positive relationships with clients and their families while helping them build behavioral, emotional, and social skills that truly last.
If you are passionate, energetic, and driven to make a difference — if you thrive on connection, creativity, and celebrating progress (big and small!) — TAG is where your enthusiasm becomes impact.
Come bring your heart, your ideas, and your excitement.
Come grow with us.
Come make a difference at TAG.
Who Thrives at TAG?
We’re looking for someone who brings heart, energy, and creativity into every session.
You’ll Shine Here If You Have:
- A positive, warm, and genuinely supportive interaction style — you light up a room and make others feel safe and valued.
- The confidence to work independently, while embracing supervision, mentorship, and collaboration.
- A creative, play-based mindset — you see opportunity for growth in art projects, sidewalk chalk, cooking experiments, and music breaks.
- A belief that learning should feel engaging, empowering, and meaningful.
If you believe progress should feel joyful — you belong at TAG.
What You’ll Be Doing (AKA: Making an Impact Every Day) Behavioral Intervention
You’ll work 1:1 with children and teens, bringing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to life. You won’t just “run programs” — you’ll help build communication, social confidence, emotional regulation, and real-world independence.
Relationship Building
Connection comes first at TAG. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families — creating a safe, supportive environment where real growth can happen.
Skill Development
Using both structured and naturalistic teaching strategies, you’ll help clients develop social skills, declarative communication, academic abilities, and daily living skills — all woven into meaningful, engaging activities.
Data with Purpose
You’ll carefully track progress, behavior patterns, and responses to interventions — because data isn’t just numbers here. It tells the story of growth. Your insights help our BCBAs fine-tune treatment plans for maximum impact.
Collaboration
You’ll work closely with experienced BCBAs who truly mentor and support you. At TAG, collaboration isn’t optional — it’s part of our culture.
Client Advocacy
You’ll champion your clients — ensuring their preferences, strengths, and voices are reflected in their treatment plans.
Professional Growth
We believe when you grow, our clients grow. You’ll engage in ongoing training, workshops, and continued learning to keep your skills sharp and your passion strong.
The Perks (Because You Matter, Too)
$25–$32 per hour, depending on experience
Paid drive time + mileage reimbursement between clients
Weekly supervision, mentorship, and ongoing support
5 Paid Sick Days annually
