Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on established treatment plans and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care routines
  • Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
  • Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching and reinforcement strategies
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behaviors
  • Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages client engagement and growth during therapy sessions

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy methods is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with special education practices, medical terminology, and medical records management is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively teach and support clients and collaborate with team members
  • Ability to follow detailed care plans and accurately document progress using medical documentation standards
