Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity in delivery.
• Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines, to promote independence.
• Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive manner.
• Support clients during structured teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and data collection methods used in behavioral health settings is advantageous.
• Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies demonstrates your readiness for this role.

Pay: $25.49 - $36.00 per hour
