Job Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site role primarily located in Broomfield, CO. This person will initially be trained to work with our patient care coordinators in Broomfield. Upon successful completion of training, this person will be cross-trained to cover as a medical assistant. Must have a willingness to work in any of our four office. No mid-day travel required. They will be capable of performing a variety of tasks, including patient intake, documenting medical histories, taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, assisting physicians with procedures, and maintaining medical records. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to eventually further their education in the medical field and wants to learn from different providers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems).
- Measure and record vital signs accurately, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Support clinical staff with procedures such as medication administration, wound care, X-ray assistance.
- Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and ensuring timely communication between departments.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring comfort during visits or procedures.
- Uphold compliance with safety standards while fostering a compassionate environment for patients of all ages.
