K&I Healthcare Services, LLC is a supportive and inclusive organization that provides behavioral health services to adults and children. We have an exciting opportunity to work in our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Waldorf. K&I is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team. We are particularly interested in hiring an Psy.D (a fully-licensed Clinical Psychologist at a Master’s level or above with A valid NPI number and Malpractice insurance). K&I seeks to provide clinicians an opportunity to develop into strong professionals and leaders in the mental health community.

As an OMHC, we treat patients of all ages for co-occurring mental health conditions, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, as well as many other conditions; and we are looking for a clinical director to keep our vision on track as well as organize and oversee the people and programs of our clinical department. The candidate that will be the most successful has had previous experience in a high-volume practice and many years of experience in providing supervision to other therapists. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in providing assessments to clients of all ages and managing a diverse array of psychological testing referrals, including psychological, developmental, and educational. The position requires an experienced psychologist who is passionate about providing high-quality psychological assessments and supporting a team of dedicated professionals.

The Clinical Licensed Psychologist will oversee the clinical operations and service delivery of K&I Healthcare Services. This role demands a visionary leader who can manage clinical programs, enhance operational efficiencies, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations of clinical services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Use a variety of standardized assessment measures, including but not limited to: Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-5), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum (MIGDAS-2), Rorschach, academic assessments, and various self report measures.
  • Supervise and provide management oversight to the clinical assessment team, ensuring high-quality assessments and service delivery.
  • Offer clinical supervision to registered psychological associates, supporting their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and accurate assessments.
  • Stay current with best practices in psychological testing and mental health assessments.
  • Support the ongoing development of our psychological assessment department.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care and integrate assessment results into broader treatment planning.
  • Engage in leadership responsibilities, including overseeing assessment services, quality control, and team performance.
  • Ensures program quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular, annual evaluation.
  • Evaluates and creates a work environment that is conducive to optimal performance by staff and contractors and helps to recruit, retain and support quality personnel.
  • May also negotiate professional contracts.
  • Work with clinical staff to implement best practices for patient care, safety, and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency.
  • Quality and Compliance:
  • Ensure the clinic complies with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and oversee quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and service quality.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.


Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology.
  • Must be licensed as a psychologist in Maryland.
  • Must be eligible to supervise in Maryland
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-licensure experience.
  • Experience working with a multidisciplinary team
  • Proven experience in conducting diverse psychological testing and evaluations across the life span.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required, with a passion for mentoring and developing clinical staff.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services
  • Experience and confidence in identifying and implementing evidence-based practices
  • Experience working in a crisis setting with individuals and families
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Outlook, Word, Excel, and customized databases
  • Ability to work in and adapt to the culture of a multicultural, community-based organization
  • Good interpersonal skills, and ability to relate well with persons from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural groups.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
