Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and experience working with children and individuals with disabilities in clinical or educational settings.
Duties
- Design and implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client strengths and challenges.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Provide patient care through direct therapy sessions, training caregivers, and supporting team members in implementing interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients to determine appropriate services and develop initial treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality related to medical records and client information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in behavioral health, special education, and related fields.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and evidence-based practices for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in clinical or educational settings.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform treatment decisions.
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with families, team members, and other stakeholders.
