THE ROLE: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about supporting children with autism and developmental differences in reaching their fullest potential.
You’ll work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized treatment programs in-home.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior-analytic treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition programs.
- Provide compassionate, ethical, and culturally sensitive care to each family.
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and the clinical team.
- Maintain documentation and session notes in compliance with Medi-Cal and HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to complete training and obtain certification within 90 days).
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes (mileage reimbursed).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass background clearance (Live Scan / DOJ / FBI).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Experience providing ABA, behavioral therapy, or childcare for children with special needs.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (Spanish, Tagalog, Mandarin, Vietnamese, etc.).
