Join our dynamic team as a BCBA Fellowship - Field Work, where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) within a supportive and growth-oriented environment. This paid fellowship offers aspiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) the opportunity to develop essential skills in behavioral therapy, patient assessment, and data collection while working directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. You will be mentored by experienced professionals, participate in comprehensive training, and contribute to meaningful patient care that transforms lives.
Duties
- Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles, ensuring fidelity to therapeutic protocols
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate intake processes
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation, including medical records and progress notes
- Participate in patient care activities such as patient assessments, behavioral health evaluations, and intervention sessions
- Support staff during training sessions on special education strategies, medical terminology, and behavioral health best practices
- Work as an RBT for a minimum of 25 hours a week
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program in ABA towards a BCBA certificate
- Knowledge of data collection methods and experience with medical documentation is preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally while demonstrating patience and empathy during patient interactions
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or in behavioral health settings is a plus
