Direct Client Support
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
Implement behavior‑reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
Collect accurate, real‑time data on client progress.
Session Preparation & Documentation
Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data‑collection software or paper systems.
Collaboration & Communication
Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.
Professional Conduct
Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
