Experteer Overview In this role you serve as the psychologist for CSP CEAT within the VA ecosystem, supporting PCAFC eligibility decisions through expert psychological evaluation and interprofessional collaboration. You analyze mental health data from EHR and collateral records to inform clinical eligibility and document findings in templated notes. You work with regional teams to ensure objective, consistent decisions and contribute to national quality through peer reviews and practice sharing. This position blends clinical assessment, program evaluation, and cross-site coordination to support veterans and their caregivers. Compensation / Benefits • Review PCAFC initial eligibility dispositions, reassessments, and appeals within 45 days from facilities and CSP VISN CEAT • Analyze mental health data from VHA EHR for PCAFC eligibility decisions and document findings in CSP PCAFC templates • Collaborate with interprofessional teams at regional, VISN, and facility levels to ensure objective, consistent determinations • Coordinate transfers of appeals with other regional CEATs for inter-VISN evaluation • Administer, score, and interpret a broad range of psychometric assessments to support case dispositions and team recommendations • Conduct Peer Reviews at regional levels to promote national consistency • Contribute to a community of practice across VISNs and CSP components • Provide psycho-diagnostic services and psychotherapeutic interventions as part of clinical duties • Supervise psychology interns and post-doctoral residents; evaluate program progress and outcomes Tasks • Key requirements • Paid Time Off: 37-50 days per year • Parental Leave: up to 12 weeks after 12 months • Child Care Subsidy: up to 25% of eligible costs up to $416.66 monthly • Retirement: Traditional federal pension and 401K with up to 5%VA contribution • Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care insurance • Telework: Ad-Hoc
