A full-time School Social Worker position is available to support K-12 students within a Cranston, RI school district. This contracted role is for the current school year and requires a professional dedicated to fostering student well-being and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to students in a K-12 school setting
  • Address student behavioral, emotional, and social challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student needs
  • Develop intervention plans and provide counseling as needed
  • Maintain detailed case records and comply with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid RIDE Certification as a School Social Worker is mandatory
  • Experience working in school environments preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred to serve a diverse student population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
