We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct one-on-one ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services are provided in home and/or school settings throughout Georgia. The RBT implements individualized treatment plans, supports skill acquisition, and assists in reducing challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home and/or school settings
- Accurately collect session data and complete detailed session notes daily
- Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with consistency and fidelity
- Support skill development in communication, social interaction, self-care, and academics
- Utilize positive behavior support strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Georgia Medicaid documentation standards
- Attend supervision sessions and ongoing training as required by BACB and state guidelines
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation and service notes
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB
- Completion of 40-hour RBT training
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with Georgia regulations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes/schools
- Ability to work independently while following supervision guidance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience providing services through Georgia Medicaid or private insurance
- Strong time management and documentation skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, and actively engage with children
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds if necessary
- Ability to respond safely and appropriately to challenging behaviors
