The Administrative Business Associate provides a shared model of support to multiple leaders for improved efficiencies across administrative activities and project coordination tasks. In this role, you will support clinical, academic, and operational functions within the Department of Psychiatry. You'll aim to optimize time by providing calendar management for meetings, conferences, and appointments, and screen content. You will provide administrative coverage by greeting visitors and responding to inquiries. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating across multiple teams, and managing administrative processes that support providers, leadership, and program initiatives. An Administrative Business Associate must have a broad knowledge of hospital and divisional regulations, procedures, and policies. In addition, you will play a strategic role in supporting and managing projects. Key responsibilities include administrative and operational support, financial and payment processing, program and staff coordination, communications and documentation, facilities, supplies and systems and program support and departmental projects.

This is a full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday on-site position based at located at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell NYC campus. The position may have opportunity to travel to NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center in White Plains.

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience preferably supporting one or more leaders
  • Expertise in calendar management, meeting scheduling, and screening of calls / visitors
  • Ability to summarize key events, action items, and/or takeaways in brief verbal and/or written format; identify risks / issues and develop proposed mitigation strategies
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of business applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), in addition, Zoom, Webex and other virtual platforms
  • Ability to analyze organizational and administrative problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation ability
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
