Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC / CSAC-S)

The Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC/CSAC-S) provides comprehensive treatment for individuals in the SA-IOP/PHP program, including assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and case management.

They conduct ASAM assessments, develop individualized plans, facilitate group and individual therapy, and coordinate care with community resources.

Responsibilities include documentation, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and participation in treatment teams.

Required skills are strong knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based therapy skills, crisis intervention, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications include certification as a CSAC or CSAC-S, a bachelor's degree, and at least two years of counseling experience.

This part-time or full-time role offers benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance, with pay between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour, and requires in-person work.
