Experteer Overview In this Senior Care Advocate role, you will support inpatient authorization decisions for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients and guide teams through data entry and inquiries. You contribute to determining the appropriate level of care across the treatment plan, positively impacting members’ lives. You’ll work within integrated care teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. Compensation / Benefits • Serve as a facility-based care subject matter expert • Coordinate orientation and training activities; provide team and on-going training • Perform quality audits and review key metrics with management • Provide feedback for supervision and performance reviews • Assist with special projects, committees, and team activities • Provide coverage when managers are in meetings or out of the office • Develop and improve training materials and job aids • Manage escalated member or case issues and coordinate with management for resolution • Collaborate with management to ensure effective case coordination and issue resolution • Maintain caseload and determine need for additional clinical treatment sessions; review assessments to determine levels of care • Administer benefits and review treatment plans; coordinate benefits across care transitions • Identify value additions to treatment plans and oversee facility-based care experience Tasks • California residency required • California license to practice independently; active and unrestricted • 2+ years post-master’s experience in a related mental health environment • Experience with Utilization Review • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook • Subject matter expert in facility-based care processes and onboarding new hires • Proven ability to drive initiatives and process improvements • Designated workspace with in-home high-speed internet access Key requirements • comprehensive benefits package • incentive and recognition programs • equity stock purchase • 401k contribution • remote work flexibility (CA-based) • drug-free workplace requirements
