Position Overview

The Licensed Psychologist provides high-quality psychological assessment and therapeutic services while supporting the growth, supervision, and professional development of pre-licensed clinicians. This role combines direct clinical work with clinical leadership responsibilities and plays a key role in maintaining clinical quality, ethical practice, and a strong learning culture within the organization.

We are seeking psychologists who are clinically skilled, collaborative, and willing to actively supervise, train, and mentor associates in accordance with California regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy, treatment modalities may include CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, psychodynamic, or other evidence-based approaches.

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations as clinically appropriate.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically indicated.

Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record.

Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to support coordinated care.

Provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians, including Psychological Associates, AMFTs, and ACSWs, in compliance with California Board of Psychology and BBS regulations.

Actively train, mentor, and support associates through case consultation, skills development, and ethical guidance.

Participate in onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for clinical staff.

Model professional standards, sound clinical judgment, and ethical decision-making.

Adhere to APA ethical standards, California licensing laws, HIPAA, and organizational policies.

Participate in clinical meetings, case consultations, and peer collaboration.

Maintain active licensure, required continuing education, and professional liability coverage.

Uphold confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical responsibilities at all times.

Meet established documentation, quality, and productivity expectations.

Communicate professionally and clearly with clients, colleagues, and leadership.

Support practice initiatives, outreach efforts, and special projects as needed.

Performance is evaluated based on clinical quality, documentation compliance, supervisory effectiveness, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited program.

Active and unrestricted Licensed Psychologist credential in the State of California.

Minimum of 1–2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.

Eligibility and willingness to provide clinical supervision and training under California regulations.

Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation standards.

Prior experience supervising or training pre-licensed clinicians.

Experience in private practice, outpatient behavioral health, or integrated care settings.

Training in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, or psychodynamic approaches.

Familiarity with insurance-based clinical environments.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $90 - $95 per hour

Supervision Range: $150 per hour

Competitive Comprehensive Benefits

Work Environment

This position works closely with our clinical and administrative teams. Services may be provided in-office, via telehealth, or in a hybrid format depending on role requirements and licensure.
