Licensed Counselor

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral and mental health assessments to determine appropriate interventions
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy treatment plans
• Develop comprehensive treatment goals and complete documentation for insurance reimbursement
• Maintain accurate weekly logs of billable services and service hours
• Provide counseling services to children and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members involved in each client’s care
• Provide staff training, consultation, and psychoeducational workshops
• Support and oversee practicum students or interns (when applicable)
• Perform activities related to behavioral analysis and mental health therapy services

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Active Michigan licensure (one of the following):
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – MI
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – MI
• 1+ year of experience in pediatric care or pediatrics
• 1+ year of experience using EMR systems, including:
• Allscripts Enterprise
• Allscripts Professional
• Other EMR systems

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Hybrid role (clinic-based with some flexibility)
• Private, family-owned organization (not private equity)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary $55,000/year
