A K-12 school in Adrian, MI is seeking a dedicated social worker to provide essential support for students across all grades within a single building. This full-time position, with consideration for part-time candidates, is a contract role covering the remainder of the school year to fill a maternity leave absence. The social worker will manage a caseload of 41 students, delivering services to promote their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students social and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and community resources
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student success
• Advocate for students access to resources and services that address barriers to learning
• Facilitate group sessions and workshops on relevant social issues and coping strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with school staff and families

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work or related field
• Licensed or license-eligible social worker with experience in school settings
