The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and assists with treatment planning and funding options.
- Delivers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction issues; offers workshops and community education.
- Supports patients in achieving treatment goals and rebuilding relationships, while maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborates with other departments and adheres to legal and confidentiality standards.
- Utilizes knowledge of ASAM criteria and facilitates access to resources.
The role requires in-person work, a full-time schedule, and offers benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Experience in SUD and valid licensure are preferred.
