RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be an active student advocate that encourages student voice.
- Works with students on academic planning and goal setting.
- Provides short term counseling: individual, group, and crisis intervention as needed.
- Collaboration with teachers, administration, families, and outside resources.
- Employs data driven decision making in order to provide proactive remediation and intervention.
- Works to improve equity, access, achievement, and opportunities for all students.

- Must possess or be eligible for New York State School Guidance Counselor Certification
