Experteer Overview In this role you join a multidisciplinary MHRRTP team to deliver comprehensive psychological care to veterans facing homelessness, mental health conditions, and substance use concerns. You will conduct assessments, guide treatment planning, and provide evidence-based therapies and crisis interventions. You’ll work on complex cases with a focus on recovery, using measurement-based care to inform decisions. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact veterans’ functioning and well-being within a residential program. Compensation / Benefits • Provide psycho-diagnostic assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment planning • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapies (individual and group) and crisis intervention • Develop, implement, and document psychotherapeutic treatment plans with a caseload • Perform psychological services across levels of complexity, including consults with peers/supervisors • Conduct screening and assessments for cognitive deficits, competency, and related functions • Educate patients on treatment options and educational materials; involve family or couples therapy when appropriate • Offer behavioral health interventions for comorbid issues (pain, sleep, smoking cessation, etc.) • Present findings to multidisciplinary teams and contribute to treatment decisions Tasks • US citizenship • Doctoral degree in psychology and APA/CPA/PCSAS-accredited internship • Current license to practice psychology (or eligible for temporary/activation arrangements) • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) • Ability to pass pre-employment requirements and background checks • Willingness to work in multiple Orlando-area locations and varied shifts Key requirements • Paid Time Off: 37-50 days per year • Parental Leave: up to 12 weeks after 12 months • Child Care Subsidy: up to 25% of eligible costs • Traditional federal pension and 401K with up to 5% VA contributions • Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care insurance • Telework: Not available
