This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is seeking licensed School Psychologists to serve students across multiple grade levels from Pre-K through 12th grade. Assignments are available in various schools within the Bakersfield, CA area, offering the chance to work with diverse student populations in grades Pre-School, K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This role requires travel between multiple school sites, with travel stipends provided based on meeting minimum qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in varying age groups.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
- Maintain compliance with California state regulations and district policies regarding student psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid School Psychologist credential/license in the state of California.
- Experience working with students across multiple grade levels, preferably including Pre-K through 12th grade.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral interventions, and special education laws.
- Ability to travel between school sites within the designated district area.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
