Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and evaluate a specialty mental health treatment program within a correctional setting. You will work on a cross-functional team to develop and refine treatment services, conduct assessments, and provide individual and group psychotherapy. You will also handle crisis intervention and pre-release planning, contributing to offender rehabilitation and safety. This is a mission-driven opportunity to apply evidence-based practices at scale in a federal facility. Compensation / Benefits • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the specialty treatment program. • Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological tests. • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy regularly. • Perform clinical interviews and crisis intervention sessions. • Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary unit to plan and assess program needs and goals. • Design and oversee residential/nonresidential treatment programs and individual treatment plans. • Utilize diverse modalities (CBT, behavior therapy, insight-oriented therapy, bio-feedback, crisis intervention, social skills training, pre-release planning). • Maintain security responsibilities as a correctional employee as a priority duty. Tasks • Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology • Current and unrestricted doctoral-level psychology license • Specialized experience in correctional mental health or equivalent setting with serious mental illness, trauma, or substance use disorders • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and in developing individualized treatment plans • Ability to supervise and develop staff and make rapid, sound decisions in critical situations Key requirements •
