Experteer Overview In this role you deliver direct readjustment counseling to Veterans and their families, functioning within a small multidisciplinary Vet Center team to coordinate care and support staff development. You will provide multiple modalities of therapy, consult on complex cases, and help Veterans access community resources. The position emphasizes expert clinical consultation, crisis planning, and outreach to ensure seamless care transitions. Compensation / Benefits • Screening and intake assessment including risk for self-harm • Developing and updating individualized readjustment counseling service plans • Direct service provision to individuals, couples, families, and groups • Risk assessment and crisis intervention with advanced clinical judgment • Care coordination with community services to maximize Veteran independence • Outreach and clinical coaching for Vet Center outreach workers • Documentation, clinical supervision, and participation in staff meetings • Clinical supervision, consultation, training, and evaluation of staff and trainees • Fostering team cohesion and participating in staff development activities • Other duties within scope of practice as assigned Tasks • Master's or doctoral degree in CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field • Full, current, unrestricted LPMHC license to practice independently • U.S. citizenship • English language proficiency (spoken and written) • Background/security investigation clearance • Ability to obtain necessary onboarding and credentialing Key requirements •
