A full-time School Psychologist position is available for on-site roles in Naples, FL, and the surrounding Fort Myers area. This role supports students across Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels with diverse caseloads including itinerant assignments. Candidates will engage in key responsibilities such as psychological testing, thorough report writing, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations aligned with school-based requirements
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Preparing detailed reports documenting assessment results and recommendations
- Attending and contributing to IEP meetings ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Education (DOE) certifications are mandatory
- Proven experience in psychological assessments within a school environment strongly preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across various educational levels (Elementary, Middle, High School, Itinerant)
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
