Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavior therapy to individuals
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing interventions
- Educate and support families on behavioral strategies and techniques
Requirements
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Familiarity with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Certification or willingness to obtain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
