Psychiatrist - Inpatient

Experteer Overview As an Inpatient Psychiatrist at MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital, you diagnose and treat mental illnesses using psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medications. You will deliver clinical services on-site and follow medical protocols and facility policies. You will review patient medical information for stability and contribute to individual care plans, ensuring timely documentation and compliance. You will evaluate patients with mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care. This role supports comprehensive behavioral health and addiction services within a large Acadia network. Compensation / Benefits • Diagnose and treat mental illnesses using psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and/or medications • Provide on-site clinical services to patients • Operate within federal/state regulations and facility policies • Review patient medical data to assess stability and offer medical recommendations • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders • Develop and implement treatment plans with various psychotherapeutic methods and medications • Maintain timely, confidential documentation and billing per policy • Ensure care plans and related services are documented accurately Tasks • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) • Licensed in the state of practice • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances • One or more years' post-graduate practice preferred Key requirements •
