Social Worker (BSW) – Pueblo, CO

Orientation Dates: November 23 and December 1, 2025 (3 openings)
Pay Range: $1,760–$1,920/week depending on local or travel status

The Opportunity

Join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team at a secure forensic state psychiatric hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. We’re hiring Bachelor-level Social Workers (BSWs) for 24–36 week, full-time onsite assignments in a Level 4 inpatient psychiatric facility serving adults with complex behavioral and mental health needs.

Ideal candidates are compassionate and professional, with strong documentation skills and an interest in supporting stabilization and recovery for patients experiencing suicidality, psychosis, or behavioral dysregulation.

Pay & Packages

Local BSW: $1,760/week ($44/hr)
Travel BSW: $1,920/week ($27/hr + $1,000 weekly tax-free stipend)

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and support treatment planning
• Provide education, case management, and discharge coordination
• Co-facilitate therapeutic or psychoeducational groups
• Collaborate with nursing, psychology, and psychiatry staff
• Maintain accurate documentation within EHR system

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
• License: Active Colorado BSW or eligibility for endorsement
• Experience: Minimum 1 year behavioral health or psychiatric setting (preferred inpatient or correctional)
• Certifications: AHA BLS (Required) – MANDT training provided during orientation
• Eligibility: No prior CMHIP/CMHIFL assignment within past 6 months
• Commitment: Full-time, onsite in Pueblo, CO (relocation/commute required)
