Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert behavioral therapy services, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves working closely with children and adults to promote positive behavioral changes and improve quality of life through evidence-based practices. The BCBA will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, including children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans
- Maintain detailed medical records, documentation, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct intake evaluations for new clients and develop personalized care plans
- Train staff and caregivers on behavioral strategies and intervention techniques
- Ensure ethical standards are upheld in all clinical practices and documentation
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification
- Proven experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, special education, and behavioral health principles
- Experience in data collection, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and medical documentation
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology related to patient care
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to perform patient intake procedures and conduct behavioral health assessments effectively
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life through evidence-based interventions
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
