Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) to provide counseling, skills training, and case management services to clients within their homes and community settings. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference, organized, and committed to helping clients reach their behavioral health goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitative mental health services under the direction of a licensed clinician.
  • Conduct skills training and development sessions to address clients’ emotional, behavioral, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes in the EHR system.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referring agencies to support care coordination.
  • Ensure all services comply with Medicaid and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Must meet Texas HHSC criteria for QMHP-CS designation (Bachelor’s degree in a human services field such as Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, or related).
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals receiving mental health services preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (community visits required).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with youth and families in home-based or community-based settings.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • CANS/ANSA Certified
  • CPR Certification
