We are seeking a licensed Intensive In-Community (IIC) Clinician in the Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Camden and Hudson County, NJ to provide goal-oriented, needs-based clinical interventions to youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges. The IIC Clinician will work closely with the Child Family Team (CFT) to provide solution-focused interventions in the home or community setting. The primary goal of the IIC position is to stabilize and support the youth and family in collaboration with their support system, promoting symptom reduction and improved functioning. Minimum of 6-8 hours per week.
Clinicians are assigned clients based on your preferred population, service area, and schedule—ensuring a reasonable commute and flexible caseload that aligns with your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home and community-based clinical interventions to youth with moderate to high behavioral and emotional needs.
- Work closely with the Child Family Team (CFT) or identified support system to ensure individualized care that meets the unique needs of each youth.
- Deliver services in alignment with the Nurtured Heart Approach and evidence-based practices to promote symptom reduction, emotional regulation, and skill development.
- Assist youth and their families in developing conflict resolution skills, coping mechanisms, and problem-solving abilities.
- Engage in short-term, solution-focused interventions aimed at restoring or maintaining youth functioning in the home and community.
- Coordinate care and collaborate with other service providers as needed to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
- Document clinical notes, and treatment progress in a timely manner, adhering to agency and Medicaid documentation standards.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Must be a licensed clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or equivalent) in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral challenges is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience in delivering culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals.
- Flexibility to provide services during times that are optimal for families (evenings and weekends may be required).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
