Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ behavioral goals
- Collect and record data meticulously to track progress, inform treatment adjustments, and ensure compliance with care plans
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in care and communication
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical documentation and records
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, and self-care
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and data collection methods
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies in educational or therapeutic settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous
- Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and families
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in special education or related fields is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
