Mental Health Practitioner - Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services In Meeker County
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct services to adults with mental illness in individual and group settings, both site based and in the community. Services focus on establishing goals that are personally meaningful to the person receiving treatment, develop skills, and achieve a quality of living that is based on each person’s vision of recovery.
Job Duties:
- Encourages and facilitates a person’s recovery/growth/healing and independence.
- Schedule appointments in a timely manner.
- Empower the individual to engage in meaningful activities/skills building that assist in rebuilding their sense of “self” and their recovery process.
- Provide skills training on basic living and social skills.
- Perform case management duties for assigned people.
- Group curriculum in place and groups and individual services are planned and carried out.
***MUST MEET MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER STATUS***
