Facility Certification: NYS Certified Sub-Acute Brain Injury Rehabilitation Facility

Position Overview: Queens Nassau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and qualified Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our team. This part-time position requires immediate availability. The ideal candidate will provide our patients a comprehensive range of neuropsychological, psychological, and cognitive remediation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct neuropsychological and psychological assessments.
• Provide cognitive remediation services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise and guide two cognitive therapists in setting cognitive remediation goals and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctorate in Psychology.
• Licensure: New York State License (NYS).

Experience:

• Proven experience in psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
• Desirable: Background in brain injury rehabilitation and/or cognitive remediation.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
