Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives by supporting their growth, development, and independence. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children, and a commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to foster independence
- Use behavior management techniques to support positive behavior changes and ensure safety during sessions
- Collaborate with team members, including BCBA supervisors, educators, and caregivers, to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies for supporting behavioral goals at home and in community settings
- Adhere to all ethical standards related to patient confidentiality, medical records, and medical terminology
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health, and behavior management techniques is highly desirable
- Experience assisting with ADLs and teaching new skills within special education or behavioral health settings is advantageous
- Familiarity with data collection methods, medical documentation, and progress tracking tools is beneficial
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with people with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification is required or preferred
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of medical records and patient information

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
