Experteer Overview As part of UNC PM&R, you will provide neuropsychological assessment and consultation to patients with neurocognitive and neurobehavioral impairments. You will work in UNC Hospitals and outpatient clinics, collaborating with multiple specialties. The role includes clinical evaluation, trainee supervision, and contributing to research and program administration. A featured responsibility is serving as the primary neuropsychologist for the Brain and Body Health Program clinic (retired NFL players). This position offers clinical focus with opportunities to teach and engage in scholarly activities within a top-tier university system. Compensation / Benefits • Perform neuropsychological assessments and consultations to aid diagnosis and treatment planning • Serve as primary neuropsychologist for the Brain and Body Health Program clinic (retired NFL players) on Wednesdays • Conduct evaluations for diverse neurocognitive impairments (e.g., TBI, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer-related cognitive concerns, long COVID) • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Sports Medicine, and more • Provide training experiences for graduate students, psychology interns, fellows, and resident physicians • Contribute to supervision, teaching, research, and administrative activities as aligned with expertise Tasks • PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology/neuropsychology • APA-approved clinical internship with a neuropsychology emphasis • Licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina • Board certified or board eligible in clinical neuropsychology Key requirements • comprehensive benefits package • paid leave • health, life and retirement plans • programs supporting healthy work/life balance • exclusive campus discounts • career growth and professional training opportunities
